At the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Northern Urban Environment and Industrial Park Association Tang Anh Truong said that economic development must go hand in hand with sustainable environmental protection, which has been recognized by the Party and State. Countries and governments at all levels have been very interested in recent times, not only in the field of environmental protection in general but also in the field of urban environment in particular.

At the same time, Mr. Tang Anh Truong hopes that urban environmental protection must have a strong change to meet the increasing demands of local authorities and people.

In recent years, branches in the Northern region have continued to proactively advise party committees and local authorities at all levels and propose effective measures to contribute to realizing socio-economic development goals. The development and operational results of regional branches in recent times have contributed to the achievements of the Vietnam Association of Urban Environment and Industrial Parks in general and of the Northern Urban Environment and Industrial Park Association in particular. .

The conference also announced the decision to reward and award emulation flags to 9 collectives and certificates of merit to 15 individuals and 28 collectives with outstanding achievements in carrying out tasks and building the Urban Environment Association and Northern industrial park in the period of 2018 - 2023.
